I have searched youtube and every bike that came up with a dyno for the 2009-2010 r1 was 158 rwhp max. My question is this.how is that possible? I have done a ton of research other than here trying to figure this out on my own but cannot come to a conclusion other than he is stubborn arrogant and lying. A guy that I work with has been racing at a local track for quite some time and I will not be hesitant to outright say he knows more about bikes than I even though Ive installed every modification on my bike myself and can out ride me any day of the week however, he is claiming that his bike tuned at 186 rwhp.He has the following mods: full leo vince titanium exhaust stock air filter and stock ecu and is running the AIS system with an o2 sensor and obviously professional tuned. My bike tuned at 147.9 rwhp about 12000rpm with 72.87 ft lb torque. I have had the bike professionally dyno tuned to fix the air to fuel ratio and allow the bike to run properly with the new setup. I have graves full titanium carbon fiber exhaust, stock air filter(recommended by the team at graves) power commander V, AIS system removed and graves smog block off plates installed and am not running an o2 sensor. Im talking about rear wheel horsepower as opposed to bhp aka brake horsepower or hp at the crank. I have the 2010 r1 and will list the mods even though they shouldnt really matter in this certain instance. So Im starting this thread in hopes that someone will answer some quetions I have about the 2009-2010 rwhp.
